What the former city doctor and current farmer Achim doesn't realize is that Bärbel has been worried about his health for some time. She is convinced that Achim's heart won't play ball much longer if he doesn't finally take a step back. Bärbel herself is troubled by the ongoing dispute with her malicious brother-in-law, the ox farmer, who has set his sights on her farm.
