So Kunta decided to search for an answer on his own, and finally found a dying cactus in the desert. In order to keep the cactus alive, Kunta used up all of his life energy, and the city of Baraboo gained a new lease on life. From then on, the people of Baraboo named the cactus Kunta in honor of the hero, and predicted that when Baraboo needed another hero, Kunta would return.
